Didn't see you or many other Canucks there. Meet a couple guys from Alberta doing the Adventure Class and an old guy named Al? from Kamloops watching the 1st wave take off. Course was good, need better suspension for next year so I can go faster and place in the money. Only prizes awarded to top 7 in my class, think I was about 25-35 min short.
I was a long 6 hour drive home after the race. Thankfully I had Monday off from work.
I looked out for your truck/bike on my travels around camp but couldn't find you either, and then spent a lot of time Saturday hiding in my tent trying to get healthy.

Suspension is definitely key out there to save yourself some abuse. I always plan to take Monday off and like to book a hotel nearby to go and have a cold beer, shower and good night sleep before heading back.

Again, awesome job finishing, many don't!

Thanks, your 350 would have been awesome on this course.....you gotta try it, nothing like taking off with hundreds of other bikes and getting cheered on at the check points by the volunteers.

Thanks...I was at the far east end, as far as you could get from the beer tent and toilets, my tent was surrounded by RVs......had to ride to use the facilities till it got dark enough.
I spend some time in my tent also after the Poker Run napping and recovering from Friday night at the beer tent & fireball shooters.....

Sure glad I did this on a smaller bike for the 1st time. I think the big katoom might have been a handful in some of the rocky spots, but in the open areas and thru the bumps I could have gone a lot faster.....it's a trade off I suppose.

Can't wait to see all the times to compare my 3:16 to the rest of the field.

        Odessa I'll be back.

Planning on going again this year, but this time on a much newer bike, a 05 450EXC.
In the process of getting the new to me bike sorted out.

            Anybody else thinking of going?
