  • Editing other users posts

Just visited and had to login (which occasionally happens when I clear my cache) and JUST realized I can edit other users posts.

Not sure is this is something you want users doing?

As well I noticed that there is a LIKE counter showing in Treading posts but there is no LIKE button option on any posts.

Just thought I would try....YUP it works! (Joker)

Even though we have a very responsible community here at DSBC, I am thinking that editing posts is something better left to the moderators?

Yes its a small tight forum but you never know

I'd still like to be able to LIKE others users posts if someone actually posted something I like but really DSBC is not like TT where this one topic has over 32,000 replies

"Editing Posts" should be left for "The Author"!

Bill, I will look into this option as I am sure it is possible, I just have to go thru the 250 options for users to find and activate it

Any registered or active member should be able to edit their own posts

Yes Tom, if the post is not appropriate, delete it, not edit it!
