          There are a few TW riders that are running ATV tires on their bikes.
          I went with the power grip, but it is kind of square and it takes a bit to get use to when cornering, but it is a blast in sand and mud.
          Others are running the Ceros ATV tire which is more rounded.

              The subframe bent when a group of us TW riders were racing around Fins and Things. Another guy had his rear sub frame break. We both had too much weight on the rear rack and TWs are not bent to do drops.

                You ride your DT all the way to Utah or did you trailer it?

                Love the DT. Looks to be in good shape.
                Sporting my favourite two stroke dual sport - a Yamaha DT200.

                  I trailered the DT and TW to Idaho, Utah and Oregon.
                  The DT is in great shape for a 96. I got it with a little under 8000 Km this last summer and now it has over 10000.

                  I took the VStrom, TW and DT to Arizona this winter for 7 weeks of warm sunny riding in the desert.
