Had a great weekend riding down at the coast, I am sitting in Kamloops as I write this and its snowing outside my window. Trails were a little slimy but lots of fun. It does not show but most of this weekend was in preparation of the Spring Newbie Ride.

Removing a old stump on the trail

It was a wet weekend but worth the 2.5 hour drive down

I get lots of questions on the drive and how hard is it, well it is generally pretty easy even with all the snow warnings for the Coquihalla it is usually good shape. I was thinking this sundays drive might be a tough one but the only place that was questionable was the Snowshed

Here is a picture of the Chain off area Nice a white but the road is clear and the skies are clearing. Not how my covered bike also covers my rear tail lights, I am gonna have ta work on that

It took me a while to remember to stop and take a picture, but the road condition usually improve by about 200 percent once you pass mine creek or Caroline mines. Here is a picture of Merritt looking towards Nicola Lake

And finally I go to the cosy clean car wash where we have a heated pressure washer and clean off the weekends mud

Unlike the car washes that I used to go to in town who banned me for bring my stuff in with too much mud, the cosy clean welcomes my money and never complains
To get the car and the bike clean takes about 10 bucks. Probably wont be able to open the doors tomorrow but the car looks great, so does the bike
