    riding on the shoulder

I was riding westbound on HWY 1 yesterday. I noticed a lot of bikes around 176 to the bridge using the shoulder in the congestion. Has anyone been pulled over yet for doing that at a safe speed? I guess I would tell the cop my bike is getting too hot. Vanmixman

    Rain X

Has anyone tried Rain X on their visors? The bottle said to test first, but just wanted to see if it does anything bad to the visor before I apply it. I guess if it works on the visor, it will be fine on the windscreen. Vanmixman

    GPS files

Has anyone suggested posting their GPS route files. I think this would be useful for anyone with garmin TOPO Canada or any other software. We could start a library of rides to do with our GPS. Just a thought. Scott (vanmixman)

    tire pressure.

My KLR staes a tire pressure of 22psi front and 29 for my fat %$# in the rear. If I am out on logging roads for the day, is it safe to run at those pressures, or should they be lowered? I am more concerned about blowing a tube on a pot hole. Thanks, Scott
