I'm going out with Julius tomorrow to mark trails around Burnt Bridge area. B route stuff or A route or a bit of both. If you fancy joining us, post up and bring a staple gun, note book, pencil, GPS, small saw and some stamina :spl:

I need some help with making GPS tracks for the B route. It's now arrowed and the roll charts are complete and I need to get GPS tracks made. It would be a long day or could be done in 3 sections. If anyone can take this task please get in touch, it would be a great help.

Thanks

I was thinking of comming over from the mainland if you guys need pre ride helpers this weekend? I could help out Sat. May 2nd. and maybe 1/2 day on Sunday.

I'll PM you with questions.

Cheers,

Cheers guys. Saturday is a good day and we'll meet at 9 - 10 (timing to be confirmed with Bugsinteeth) at the Koksilah prov park by burnt bridge.

We have these tasks to complete:

Ride the entire B route and make good GPS tracks. A good days work for 2 riders minimum. Roll charts available for this route but good to have a guide for this to avoid any missed turns etc that may screw up the tracks.

Place arrows on Section 4 of the B route. Approx 2 hrs riding.

Place arrows on section 1 of the A route. Approx 2 hrs riding.

Place arrows on section 2 of the A route. Approx 2 hrs riding.

Finish placing arrows on section 4 of the A route. Approx 2 hrs riding.

So far we have me, Aflica, Bugsinteeth, and Lonewolf. We could use at least one more local rider who knows the trails and a few more for company.

Bring GPS, note book, pencil, small saw, staple gun if you have one (we'll end up with ten or none I bet:shoot:). I find a fanny pack is good for keeping all the gubbins handy.

Loz out.

Hello Mainlanders,

I spoke with Loz this evening. I'm going to head over to the Island this weekend ( May 2-3) to help out with the Orca run prep. Will leave Fri evening or Sat. AM (first boat) based on weather and/or my readiness. Aiming for fri evening. Will be camping and meet up with Loz and the others Sat morning.

Anyone interested in joining in? Just post up or PM me.

Cheers,

Paul N.

Hi Loz,

Sounds like a good plan. 9:30 AM. Sat.

I'm expecting to make it over Fri evening. Will likely camp at the provincial park.

Looking foreward to it!
