Current Information on the GVMC New Year's Day Run

Come join us for the GVMC New Year's Day Run Thursday January 1, 2015. A great way to start the New Year!

Sign Up; 10:00am - 11:00am at the GVMC Club House. Ride leaves at 11:00am.

This is a rain or shine event. Cars are welcome.

Signup fee:$20.00 Cash – Cheque - PayPal (plus applicable service charge)

This includes a hot meal at the end of the Run.

The ride will be a Poker Run and have a route that is enjoyable for both road riders and dual sporters.
We will have some Sections of the route dedicated to fun easy dualsport bikes and will be suited for machines up to the 650- 900 cc class bikes. Much the same as last year. You will need a plated machine.

This has been a popular event so book early.

There will be other fun activites happening at the Clubhouse after the Run or in place of if the weather so dictates.

WE HAVE a nice dualsport trail set up in the local area of Langley and Surrey that you may enjoy. Prepare for a fun day and the so far the weather is balmy.

Put on your woollies. Artic air forecast to invade the area on the 26th. At this time it does not look like much if any snow with the cold air. Should be in place for New Years day. Could be a beautiful sunny one but cool. Still too far out to see snow if any as the cold air gets pushed out early in the new year.

Although, I will be on 1200. But, I will take off one spark-plug wire and make it a 600.

Never done this event, but might be down for it.

My KLR650 is a heavy bugger but we'll see how the weather and plans play out.
