Nice list. Mine looks fairly similar but I have left out a few items.

When i was renewing my bikeinsurance the other day, I was informed that it is no good in Mexico. I was told everyone must buy Mexico insurance at the border.

Any feed back from the masses would be great!

That's where we got our insurance too last year. (Bajabound)
Funny story when we went down last Feb we crossed from Yuma into El Degonas. It was Sunday and all the banks were closed. The border guard informed us we could not get our tourist visa's that day. It was eithertravel all the way to Mexicali which would blow our first day itinerary orcontinue without.

It was decided we go anyways and worry about the visa's down in Cabo. A couple of the guyswere a littleconcerned:hr:.

Wewent all the way downto Cabo andthen back up to Guero Negro before we finally got nailed. (We had bypassed it offroadon the way down.) There's a big military base there and they have a major checkpoint. We'd hit probably 6 prior but none of them cared til now. These guys were cool and thought it was funny we'd made it so far without our visas. We paid up there and all was good. :hb:We even got pulled over and ticketed (read "bribe") bysome cops in Constitucion and they did not ask for the visas.

Have a good one down there. I can't wait to do it again.
