I'm new to this site, but I've been lurking for a few weeks. Anyway, I'm from the Bellingham, WAarea. just across the border from you guys, and thought I'd let you know that a small group of us are already planning on attending the Desert 100, and are currently working out our carpooling situation to get there. If any of you would like to tag along with us, or are planning on going already and have room for an extra bike and/or rider, or would just like to caravan with some friendly riders who've been to this event before and know how to get there and back, please check out our little gathering of dualsporters at http://groups.msn.com/bellinghamdualsportridersand let us know.

Hi Drew,

Great to hear from you. We normally have about 5 or 6 of us that travel down to Odessa. It would be good to catch up with you guy's either going down, or at the event. Some of us did the Dirty face at Leavenworth last year and loved it. We'll certainly be doing that again if we can get in. Maybe you can get up here for some of our runs as well. We'll keep in touch.

Welcome to our little site BDSR's. I am sureyou are familiar with the MBMC and Lyle Duronso, many of us have spend many hours in you neck of the wood over the years, lots of fun. If it wasnt for the boarder issues we would come down for some day rides more often.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the 100

Thanks for the welcome, glad to hear some of you guys are coming to Odessa, last year was the first year we went, and we had a blast, so we're going back. Most of us will be doing the dualsport ride on saturday as well as racing on sunday. Our group from last year had two riders on DR350's and two riders on DRZ's. This year we've got basically the same group plus a guy on a DR650, and one on aKTM200exc, and a few others that we're still working on getting to commit to the event. I know what you mean about border issues, still, I'll see if I can make it to a ride up there sometime. I know that there must be some great riding up there just across the border from here.
