I'm a DSBC sponsor. Please thank me with your busi
Beta did a great job of keeping there trials bike like feel into an enduro bike. Vey low center of gravity in the tight woods it feels like a 250. Very smooth power delivery . Capable of 160kmh on highway 6 speed transmission . KTm motor so parts are very easy to get . Suspension and chassis is described as a better handling KTm. The reviews on youtube and others are really good.

We do have a demo bike to try out .

a buddy of mine just bought a 08 450 beta a while ago. it wasn't factory legal. i'm not sure about the 09's .my gut feeling is they are rum bikes. i've yet to see any mention of a street legal beta anywhere on the bike sites etc.

Licensing was a non-issue. The bike has a legal, 17 digit, motorcycle VIN and, when questioned, the licensing guys confirmed that it was street legal.

Again, the BETA enduros are street legal bikes!

That's good to hear as I'm picking mine up from Bill this week. Mind if I pick your brain over accessories? What are you using for luggage there and are you running the stock tires?

Scott, I thought you were replacing the Multistrada with a fancy mountain bike? Anyway, I'm glad to see you moved from road bikes to dual-sport! We need to go riding together soon :)

Cheers,

Arthur

P.S. I saw another Multi for sale a little while ago. It looked like Paddy's. Was it his?

Haven't signed the papers or figured out the final numbers so I'll wait until that's finished before I say I actually own it.

But I'm looking at the 525

Just to clear up any ambiguity, can you confirm what it says on the VIN plate? MC, RUM, or something else?

Nice bike by the way.

Cheers,
Matthew

Sorry for the extremely late response (I've been out riding the Beta).

There is only the 17 digit VIN, with no indication such as MC or RUM.
