Thanks to all who helped make this event a winner, on behalf of everyone at the FVDRA.

It was so hard to see everyone have a good time riding and all I could do was watch from the sidelines with a broken wrist. I checked in the late evening till earlymorning sunday and saw so many people having fun, was anyone here on the "205" team? It would be great to hear some storys or comments good or bad about the event to make next year bigger and better!

Cheers

Just posted the pictures from the FVDR 24hr marathon.

Nasty rain and the pit crew (me) fell down on her job but the guys did not ...

They won 3rd place in the Sportsman class and most of that was done on the "B" loop

I will leave it to the guys to tell their story as they are the real Heroes of this one!!

Good on ya guys CONGRATULATIONS to you all.:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Mitchell, who started the whole ride; first time out on an organized event, and finished it for the team.

Ted

Kelly

John

Scott

Mark
and the support riders who did a heck of a job :clap::clap:

Judy rode when it was not raining but then it downpoured...I think Judy did about6 or soloops too but not sure why we didn't count these... ha ha:)

It didn't rain one iota on Friday night stars were out and all...then we awoke to the rain on Sat morning and it rained off and on until the afternoon. We had sunshine:ss: for a bit,but it was not to be for long :mad3:...the downpour began again and it didn't let up for hours...I think it may have been about 3 or 4 AM when it finally stopped. Sunday dried up of course it was near the end then.

The set up...note even in modern times we circle the wagons! :D

Part of the "A" loop...this was not for our dualsport bikes a bit too gnarly!

Same "A" loop called the Royal Throne

Something broke hitting something..ooopps. :(

How many people does it take to change a light bulb? One to do the changing and the other 4 to give support like you're doing it wrong and this doesn't go here or does it?

And this is the 3rd place winning team...at least part of it. Ted, Kelly Scott, & Mitchell. Accepting the trophy for Team DualsportBC ..(I don't think they ever came up with a team name)

And don't forget ...this was called the Fraser Valley Dirt Rider 24 hour dirtbike marathon. The runs were Not particularly made for our bikes. See Tom's video for the twists and turns and this was the "B" loop that our team went on for the most part.

Well done everybody who participated in this event. Judging by the pictures it was a great adventure. Looks like you could sucessfully invade a small country with the amount of support gear you brought! Team DSBC kicks a**:wi:

Calling "Holligan" Where are you.

I watched in horror when you guys pulled out of camp before the end of the race, what happened???? One of your team mates who's name starts with a J and speaks with a funny S African Accent called you "Homeagain":mad3:. Did the 24 hours get the best of you? Those big KTMS not up to the challange?

Just jokin with ya, but lets here your story anyways.
