Gold bridge to Risk Creek.

Hello there, I'm planning next years trip and was looking through my back roads book and it shows a road or route from Gold bridge to Risk Creek. Does anyone know the conditions of this pass. I did my first trip early July, my bike, my tent and flyrod, had an amazing time. The south cariboo looks like it has a lot of water, that means fishing! If anyone has any information about this route, it would be greatly appreciated.
