The E Harrison to Lillooet is one of my favourite rides. Most has been covered in this thread, but I have just a small caution to add:DOGS!! Last time I went through, there was a pack of semi ferall dogs that almost brought me down. Last km or so before the Lytton ferry, just at the end of a sunken lane with apple trees on both sides. Watch out.HORSES!! About a 1/3 way between Lytton ferry and Lillooet, there is usually a herd, some will stand their ground and kick if you pass too close.Ride safeMike
Holy crap. The ride north of the Lytton ferry to Lillooet has 3 places where dogs almost got me. Absolutely the scariest part of that road. If this was most parts of the US, them or their owners would have been shot a long time ago. Good riddance

I once got charged by that roaming pack of wild dogs that "lived" up along the old Liumchen FSR...they came out of nowhere and surrounded me, it was quite unnerving.
My machete was in my pack, along with my bear spray.
I was able to get my TW between me and them, but was on the wrong side of the bike, such that I couldn't put the kickstand down.
When I was finally able to get the bike and pack worked out, they were basically standing around barking at each other and seemed to have lost interest in me, which was good....I didn't want to off a dog.
Eventually, they took off whence they came and I went home to change my drawers....

Did the same ride a week before and ran in to 2 packs of dogs and the horses also, interesting that both packs were all white dogs. the dogs we had chase us were not vicious dogs at all they were just being dogs. When I pulled over and stopped they started wagging their tails and seemed rather afraid of me. I would not have stooped near the horses thou they seemed a little on the wild side.

I rode from Boston Bar to Lillooet a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately we didn't encounter any dogs. There used to be a dog just south of Lytton that would wait under a truck for bikes to go by. One day, we finally got tired of being chased and decided it was time for some payback. We stopped before the truck to re-group and make a plan to lure the dog out and roost him. With Farp leading the way, we slowly approached the truck. When the dog came charging up to the slow moving bike, Farp let him have it! Unfortunately for me, I wasn't too far behind with the GoPro and probably took as much, if not more, roost than the dog. Good news is, we never saw that dog again.

I was up in the Nahatlatch area on Saturday, didn't have time to ride Kookipi myself but I helped some folks having jack problems change a tire, and they had just come through from Harrison E in a stock Jeep Commander, said it was completely clear. Rockfall at the north (Nahatlatch) end was cleared enough to squeeze the Jeep through without issues, so it would be no problem on a big bike now. Also despite the reports a few weeks ago of landowner issues, we went up to the FSR lookout and saw nothing at all to indicate the road was ever closed, no gates, no new signage, just the usual reminder to keep the dust down on the first km of the climb.

Rode B Bar to Lytton, via Keefers FSR last weekend, fun road, lots of viewpoints, passable with larger ADV bikes, although in a couple of spots you would want to have *some* off-road experience before attempting.

Apparently FSR was opened yesterday. Think I'll check it out Harrison to Lytton.Hopefully there is other traffic. I won't do it unless someone is behind or with me.Probably leave Harrison (end of blacktop) - 1:30. - 2:00

Road from Harrison to Lytton is generally good.Few loose spots from snow melt runoff but nothing serious. Drive with a bit of caution so loose spots don't surprise.Construction camp at power project is gone. Didn't see a sole between Harrison Lake and Nahatlach.100+ campers along Harrison Lake then no one.
