Hey Folks,

Just so you know there is a ring working in Kamloops that seems particularly interested in Ford Trucks and as of late, dirt bikes. My son's Forest Green/beige 4.4 2000 Ford F-250 and our motorbikes (2007 CRF 450R and my KTM 300) went 'missing' from the Accent Inn May 30th. Police were contacted but no trace. Keep a look out for us. All my gear was stolen including my coveted Shoei DS Hornet TC 8 (Black and Orange) helmet. That and a load of tools! Police indicated this has been happening for a number of weeks (trucks) and still no leads.

Hope ya get your bikes and gear back.

The cops in Kamloops aren't worth shit.

AFTER my service truck got stolen we found out there were 9 more previously stolen.( I followed it in my car at 3am in my gonch..on the phone to the cops...telling them where to intercept it....nope, NO COPS...But I did get OT from work)

We had thefts in our yard at work over numerous days where they tried to steal my boat motor...and succeeded in breaking into a trailer with a race car in it and stole tools and race gear.....only AFTER it was reported did we find out that the whole industrial area was being targeted for the last 2 months and a lot of shit was stolen from other businesses.

The cops didn't let anyone in the area that this was all going on.:gaah:
Do not donate to CRIME STOPPERS in Kamloops.

RANT OVER :))):

Can ya post up a pic of the truck also and the bike s/n ?

That sucks man! Can you post pics of the truck and other bikes? I know it's far, but people get around and pretty much have to drive through Chilliwack/Hope to get to Van if they were to move their loot.

Post a pic of the truck, license plate, both bikes with graphics, numbers etc... If it's recent sometimes they might not have the time to strip/paint a bike, just move it away from people who will recognize it.

The Chase RCMP are no better, they only ask the perp to PAY for items stolen and often will not attend burglaries-in-progress. There are a lot of very angry people in the Chase/North Shuswap area who know exactly who these thieves are, but can't take matters into their own hands.

Time for locally accountable police service?
Post pics if you can, we can be on the lookout. But, then, who do we call if the police won't act?
