I'll be there if it's on. However if the event is cancelled due to the dry conditions or wild fires I'd like to see my reg fee donated as well.

BTW does anybody know how essential a roll chart holder is or can I make work with my gps?

Dan just emailed me back and said they would email me the GPS tracks once I've registered. I'm assuming they are GPX which I can import into my GPS BUT since this is my first time, I'm going to find someone else to follow BUT I do like to be out front. Is this an actual race?

CBC is reporting Hwy 97 is closed at Paxton Rd and homes near Monte Lake are being evac'd because of a 100ha fire in the area. Best of luck to locals, hope they can get it under control quickly and nobody loses anything. Has the event officially been postponed/cancelled for this year?ThxKF

Unfortunately yes our A and B routes appear them may be on fire now or will be into the night. We will be discussing the future of this years event on early next week and will be in contact with the registrants after that.
