Welcome to LSDS 2014 - August 9th - Kamloops, BC
A weekend of epic dualsport riding for everyone - beginners to experts.

This year we will have 4 routes. As usual, the Kamloops guys have some fantastic tracks for you to enjoy.

  • 'A' route is around Sun Peaks with single track you will never find again.
  • 'B' route heads out towards Falkland. This revised route will have new features for everyone.
    • B route is ideal for 500cc dirt bikes. Good riders on 650 dirt bikes should be OK. This is not a route for KLRs.
    • 180km with gas in the middle. Hours of woods singletrack.
  • 'C+" added this year for the bigger bikes with a sense for adventure.
    • C+ route is ideal for 650cc bikes including KLRs. Very good riders on 950s should be OK. Not passable for 1200cc bikes.
    • 200+ km with gas in the middle
  • 'C' route has dirt roads and fabulous scenery for all skill levels.

Arrive on Friday August 8th and set up camp. Ride day is all day on Saturday the 9th.
Dinner, dance and party on Saturday night (if you have any energy left!). Pack up and leave camp on Sunday.

  • Important ride information, schedule and picture links can be found at LOOSESCREW.DUALSPORTBC.COM
  • More information is found in this bulletin HERE
  • Please fill out the registration form found HERE and mail it in.
  • Deadline for entry is July 22nd.

I have to say that last years B was one of the best rides I have done, minus the hard work of moving all the 990 and 950's out of our way! Hey guys if they say its NOT BIG BIKE FRIENDLY maybe do the ride on the friday or sunday!
My entry form is in the mail, see if i can make the first 5!

Thanks for the positive comments. It seems no matter how many times we say "don't bring your 950..."

The traffic jams were a problem last year. We will rectify that this year. There will be an alternate route for all the nasties. It still won't be much easier for the 950s but at least they'll be out of the main traffic stream.

Looking forward to participating this year! I had lots of fun last year cutting trail and pre riding with the "B-Loop Boys", this year, more riding for sure!

OK, this year its happening. I got all the camping stuff figured out - that kind screwed me up last year. My buddy and I will be getting "lost" on the A loop - he he.

I understand, for the A loop, its roll chart? Is there a specific roll chart holder I should get?

thanks

Roll chart holder is something like this. This one is fancy. Only downside is the window doesn't come off (for editing). But if you aren't editing routes, not a problem. The basic black one with a snap on plastic lid/window works just fine too. You can order one from Gnarly - should get it in time for the ride.

I was plated last year! The plan is to spend a bunch more time on the bike(s) this year. Gotta get this whole four stroke thing figured out a bit better!

I promise, I won't bust your saw this year though .

Nerrad…you need to do the A with that bike you have :D
It looked like a lot of bush whacking last year! Maybe I can talk snack daddy into the A on the friday, but would really like to do last years B again maybe a couple of trips up this year!
