I'd like to say thanks to everyone who came out to the ride.
And a special thanks to all that bought food at the concession and dropped cash in the donation jar. We raised $762 for a local family with a terminally ill daughter.
Sadly, on Sunday morning while everyone was riding, she died. As anyone who has a sick child can tell you, your life is turned upside down. Please take comfort in the fact that these donations go directly to the family to help them catch up on bills in a very small way.
The memorial ride is dedicated to loved ones lost. This year, I will add a sweet young girl whom I've never met to that ever growing list.
