Pete, can you upload a GPX version of the file? When I try to load it into Mapsource, it says that it can only read gdb files version 2 and below. As you can tell, I didn't bother to update my Mapsource yet this year.
I have the same problem and can't update my map source form the garmin site. It's says that the updates are coming out in April.

Love the roll chart thing :):). Now I gotta go, cause last year I inadvertantly led a few on the wrong, mostly pavement ride return trip:spl:. Thought I could keep up to Rambo:shock::shock:.

Cheers, Alex.
Heh, thanks for looking out for me as I broke down every 10 feet. Darn dangly brake light wiring !

I just read on the "roll chart" thread that you guys have just done a pre-ride. I was going to warn you about the low snow elevation out here right now from some snow fall this last week, but sounds like all is clear on your route.

Also note that the Tahami (sp?) FSR that links upthe Cultus Lake side with the Chilliwack Lake road side will be, or already has been, closed to all traffic at the military area on the Cultus lake side. Too much vandalism and garbage dumping.

Happy riding to all the newbs and not so newbs.

Hey,

Here is a Jpg map for none GPS peps.. Ohhh and here is a link that all newbies and exp riders must have...

its simply the best link to all BC backroad trails.. and using the legend is way too cool with the Ortho mode to see hills and inclines..

http://www.tsa.gov.bc.ca/sites_trails/finding/launch_interactive_map.htm

Cheers, If I ever get the KLR outta the shop I'll be there.

:)

Due to some overwhelming complexities in picking up my bro's new bike, neither him nor I will be there. I'm choked :( Have fun.

I will be there for sure! My first ride in Canada!!! See you there!:hb:

Since you are new to the area, you may want to meet with a bunch of us at Hwy 1 and 232nd St.in Langley. Take the exit to the Chevron station. We are meeting there at 8 AM and leaving by 8:30.

Cheers, Ed :dr:

The Bus is loaded and ready to go

I and those traveling on the bus will be picking up XRMike on the way and stopping at Tim Hortons and getting morning coffee:cf2:, hope 80 cups is enough. Gonna get timbits too.

I got the BBQs, Propane, 2 Tables, Pinic Table, some chairs, Gen Set, Heater, 2 EZ Ups, Coolers.

How about paper towels and plates?

If you are not on the ride the bus will be left open so you will have somewhere warm to wait.

For those of you riding on the bus be not later than 07:15 bus leaves at 07:30 Sharp:ted:
