I've got my Husky ready for this ride, but I've had the bug to do the e-z route on my Sportster sometime. Go for it!!!!

Okay, I've been wanting to check you folks out for a while now, but I'm not getting a dual-sport for a couple of months yet.

So what do you think, should I have some fun and ride my street bike on the "EZ" route? I don't mind dirt roads, but a ton of pot holes ain't much fun.

Or do you think it wiser that I just come out to the staging area and steal some food when you get back from your ride?

Oh, can I get permission to download the roll chart? Don't know if I'll ride, but I'd like to print it out anyhow.

thanks,
trond
From past experience, Jude's "EZ" route will be friendly to your bike. Look forward to meeting you. --Ed

I'm hoping to create a roll chart for the Orca A/B routes and I wonder how you get the formating and arrow symbols the way you have?

Any advice?

I will see if I can get some info from Judy on the Roll Charts.

I'm also very interested in knowing how to make them.

I'd be happy to explain how to do a roll chart. Just keep in mind it's VERY time consuming and the most important part (I learned this from Tom) is to keep a couple of bottles of wine close by because you'll need em' :)

Loz, email me this week and I'll get you started. [email protected]

[scroll=right]Caution[/scroll]

Do not use old route sheet or roll charts, they are wrong.

Even though a lot of work goes into producing these charts, mistakes are made. To get the corrections you must attend the riders meeting before the event. Often we go into areas that require permission, that means promises are made to land owners and government officials. Promises like we will not openly distribute route infomation, no we wont GPS the routeand we are only going into this areafor one weekend. If we start posting route sheets we will loose more riding areas. This is why old roll charts are not available after an event

Never Never Ride Alone or Count on theaccuracyof an old roll chart.

For now the best way to find adventure routes is to attend some of the local events, usually guys are going for a ride every weekend. Also check out the Adventures Section http://www.dualsportbc.com/forums/view_forum.php?id=11

Hope this helps
