NWZ b-loop ride/work party Sun May 18th

Meet at the Yellow gate @ 9:30AM We are going to split into two groups I am going to ride the course to get a GPS track We may have to do some clean up on some of the old trails The other group is going to clear part of a new trail Post up if your coming.

Yes you may. This is a B-loop and has some difficult sections,so it is made for smaller bikes, there will be both riding and trail clearing What are you riding?

WR250 with a fairly large tank. No plate this year though.

Sorry I missed you guys today. I got held up at a fatal motorcycle accident on the way up. I was about half an hour late. I tried following what I thought was your tracks but lost them on one of the main roads. While out riding I did some trail clearing on Rob's Trail. There were a whole lot of wind falls on it. Hopefully that was one of the trails you're going to use this year.

Thanks for a super day Boys, it was fantastic!
It felt great to go out and clear a little, ride a lot, enjoy the blazing sun and torrential downpours. A real mixed bag. Sorry we missed you cmarcan but thanks for the work on Robs Trail because it is a part of this years route. Nice pics Frank! Especially since we never knew you were taking any with that damn remote control helmet-cam you have!My advice to all the guys doing this years B route is go out and buy as small a front sprocket that you can fit on your bike. We have a few new forested hillclimbs, but the 1.5 km.long boulder strewn "Hamburger Hill" up to Rowbotham Lake will be a hard grind if you are not geared low enough. (See attached photo)
