Leaving in the morning with the days end run being perhaps Hazelton.
Meet at the Mt Paul husky at 7;30. prepare for two weeks and thousands of km's. Spent the big bucks on the Turkish made Anlas tire, lets see how it compares to the tried and true Kenda.

stay tuned as there may be a few pics. after the return.

today was an out n back to chicken for lunch.arrived back in dawson right after a crazy hailstorm. howled at the never setting sun til 3 last night. day off today dempster tomorrow if it's open.

Good luck on the Dempster, I was up there in 2014 and it is an easy ride when the roads are dry. Just be careful when you get going a little too fast as the road conditions can change quick and you have to rely on a little luck and your off-roading skills in a hurry. When the rain comes down the Dempster is a snotty slippery road.

every gs on the dempster was brown today. in fact anything that moved was brown today. if not for the hours of rain a major cleaning would be required.Less than an hours ride time to 5k on the Anlas and its doing stellar so far.and pictures. yes there's a few.

Hi Wayne as always I enjoy sitting back with a coffee and reading your adventures, I wish you better success than I had with the Anlas, first trip out on my new tires I ripped the front side wall. Okay perhaps bad luck on my part and installed a new Anlas anyways. The new front has some miles on it now and it seems to be holding up alright.Though the rear Anlas didn't last 1500 kilometres in which I was extremely disappointed for the price of those tires. I installed the Motoz tractionator last week and had a great time hooking up on every kind of terrane at the TT rally. I will say the Motoz is terrifying on the highway, so squirrly.Should mention I'm riding a 1190RAnyways enough of my rants.... keep up with the posts.
