Great Move with Great Friends
Thanks to all of you that managed to make this event happen, I really did want to see this movie in the theatre and thanks to you guys, it happened.
Fun to see a bunch of guys from Bellingham attend, I still remember the days when the Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club and the Mount Baker Motorcycle Club competed and participated together at many motorcycle events and the Flat Track Racing at Hannigan. I guess those days are pretty much gone with the Homeland Security measures leading to the difficulty of crossing the border?
OAS:TNC was what I was expecting, would have liked a little more off roading, but then the movie would have been 3 hours long. I enjoyed the old school Speedway (out of control these guys) and Flat Track Racing, a good reminder that there are many disciplines of motorcycle riding, and to be a "real" rider you need to be good a several disciplines, not just a specialist in one. All in all a really good movie for me.
Managed to get home at 11:45. Used the 264th crossing, border guy was pretty funny and wanted to know more about why there were so many cars coming back from a movie in Bellingham.
Thanks Everyone
And dont forget to donate a 10 or 20 bucks to help us build a Kids Loop at the Tamihi Staging Area, either get in contact with Judy (JavaJude) or follow this link to the Go Fund Me site where you can donate online.
