Since it looks like I have missed out on the group site, I reserved site#60 as it's at the north end and should be a short walk/stumble/crawl to the group site.

Looking forward to it.

Ahh but we don't know for sure yet since there are only 15 "tent people" listed in the Orca runners so far?

True enough, only 15 are listed but the mail is still arriving and the list will be updated soon. To date, 56 have registered online. So unofficially we expect they are gone. But don't rush to reserve a separate site until Kiwi makes it official. If you already have and don't need it, you can always cancel for a refund. Keep in mind you can share your site with others. Meanwhile, because of the high turnout we are now looking at reserving a few extra camp sites to boost the number beyond 25. More on that soon from Riskman..

I held off on official registration, and it looks like it's turning out to be a smart thing on my behalf. New job, working Saturdays. Looks like I'm out this year, although I certainly will get in on as many pre-rides as I can.

No worries. I figured if something happened where a spot in the group site opened up, someone will make use of the one I booked. I reserved it for two tents assuming someone will want to share the space.

Either way, it's all good.

We have booked double site 58/59 as overflow. They are very close to the group site and will fit 3 tents each. We will do our best to ensure everyone that wants to tent can.

I hope I am not too late to register for the ride ride. I will send a cheque tomorrow morning. If it wasn't for Bones and MikeyT I would still be thinking it was April.
