Thanks to all the BC riders for this invite. Long way to get there, snow already down to 9000 foot level and the aspen color rides below that elevation are super inviting also. Yes, wish I could be there to say Hello to my Tete Jaune Cache neighbors but "them th brakes" so till next time. Safe and smart ride to all,
adios gale
The Adventure route is ahead in the poles today. I better get to work on an interesting route. I'm thinking of making this an Observation Ride or a Scavenger Hunt ride. There will be some questions to answer and maybe even WayPoints to find for you GPS folks. I'll have a route sheet but no GPS tracks this time. The course will also have arrows posted. The fun will be in finding your way with my instructions. This will be a big bike and true Newbie friendly ride. There will be a gas stop and all bikes must be plated and insured.
I will also have the 2014 BCORMA Trail Passes for sale for $60.
Not knowing what to expect I've put down C I have no Idea what the trails are like in comparison to Trails in Somerset (UK), and considering I need to look after my bike for the ride down to south america better to play it safe.
Any recomendations of a place to stay in the area, as it will be an early start from Whistler to get there in time??
Ill put myself down right now for the "C" route. Like others here I'd love a perfect C+/B- ride. but I guess finding the right difficulty level for a large group of riders is easier said then done. I'd be interested in doing some "extra curricular" trail rides with and C+ riders that are interested.
