Saying Goodbye To My 09 EC300

Well the time has come to say goodbye to my beloved 2009 Gas Gas EC300 , it has been a great bike , but its got to GO !! :(

I am lucky enough to be 1 of 200 people in the WORLD that will have one of the sickest factory bikes ever built. The Ohlins suspension on this bike is incredible and guess what , Ohlins says it High End (didnt know Ohlins made anything but high end). There is a possibility that Dave Fair may be able to get some more , so if you want one , get ahold of him QUICKLY and see if there is any left , before all it is , is a dream http://gasgaspacific.com/index.php

If anyone wants a good 09 EC300 , Dave Fair will have it at the beginning of June in his shop , and if you know the bike or know me , then you know it will be a Bargain for the next lucky owner

you know Rossco , if your weren't such a bike pack-rat you could make room for one of these , maybe part with the precious TW and the KTM, both of those might get ya down payment on one , and stay away from my work from Russ , i still need bike goodies too, as the 09 goes complete , with damper and all guards and second exhaust and and and and...........list list can keep growing , JUST NOT MY TUGGERS !!

Ok , fair enuf , NOT The TW , BUT you need to get some seat time on the TW so it doesn't scare you so much when we go in the nasty trails with it , I know its a handful , but a big guy like you can do some weight training or the Gym or something to try and get that monster under control . Ok , enuf said , just talking about that beast gives me the shivers .

Nambotin Update


it sounds like they've gone into production as scheduled (meaning this week) And it looks like Dave fair of Gas Gas Pacific was able to get three more allotted to him , How he did that i don't know must be a big string he pulled , and i think one or two maybe have interested party's , But that might leave one still up for grabs or maybe more if it just interest and not serious enough So........once again if you want one and this could be your very last chance , GET AHOLD OF HIM NOW , tho he will be away from Thursday till Monday racing his vintage stuff done in Oregon .

Nambotin update , THERE HERE , and so are the 2010 EC250f , and both look really good , BUT , back to the Namby , i will be picking mine up in a couple of days , but i got a pic of my buddy's while its still being put together

congrats,doesn't get much better than new toys at our (or any age).once you have her broken in and a couple scratches i've got a fairly taxing route for you to try in nanaimo.kinda my own mini hells gate

I'll bet you do , Its at home now and the red 09 is now owned by Dave Fair and is for sale at his shop. Welcome to White , and the work is just beginning. Now we break the engine and the jet it after break in , then set up the suspension with Ellis of STS after a suitable anount of hours have gone by , and of course scratch it up some , but not to much

Pics tomorrow , too late today to get any , will start a new Namby thread for that

But if anyone whats a good used 1 year old bike complete with all guards and a maintenance record from Dave (
he did all the work on it ) and damper a very expensive low rise under mount GPR V4 C/W with top triple clamp so as not to rise the bars mor than 5mm Dave Fair has it.
All jetted and running great , take my loss and save thousands with the goodies on it

My old 09 is now gone to a new and happy owner , we rode together yesterday , hes coming off an 07 EC300 , and is very happy he made the change. And so am I

Aflica, wow neat you got the Nambotin bike. I am curious, do you know if the ec250's and ec300's use the same crank and lower end, especially with the models maybe 5 years old?

I believe they do , but as far as 5 years ago , i dont know. Good possibility , as Gas Gas makes only minor changes year to year. They dont keep re-inventing they wheel every year. Dave Fair @ [email protected] will be able to tell you for sure
