Riding Squamish on Monday - likely the usual haunts, or possibly an exploratory trek past Cat Lake to check on the snow @ Brohm ridge, or.... ?

Who shall join me ?

This Thurs (May 28th) , another epic trek Northward awaits ! We know not where the winds shall take us, only that "ride we must" ! (poke, prod.....)
We'll be starting early, as we must (sadly) return to civilization (earlier than usual).

So, who's coming ?

Anybody interested in doing the In-Shuck-Ch FSR from Lilooet down to Harrison lake?

Has anybody done it recently that can offer advice for riders on larger bikes 900cc and up?

I'm also up for any other rides up North and can do something either on the 6th or 13th of June. PM me if you want to arrange something.

We did it a few weeks ago, road was in pretty good shape. There's a rough section for a few kilometers at the north end of the lake but you should be fine on your 1190 unless you're a beginner.

Thanks I've never done it before and have been trying to get a few riders together to go.

I could be interested.

I missed the last group ride that did this.

So looks like you want to do the slab to Lillooet 1st and work your way back? I think I like that idea.

I'd be on a big bike also.

Send me a PM and maybe we can chat about some dates. I'm flexible on the route as well so whatever works for the group.

I'm looking more for small-bore dual-sporters as I'm on a TTR 250. Looking to trailer up to around Anderson Lake (my cabin) then explore from there, Poison Mt, South Chilcotin, Carpenter Lake and beyond. Could also maybe loop Lilloett/Duffy Lake HWY/Mt Currie/Anderson Lake but that's a lot of pavement. Maybe better loop Carpenter/Gold Bridge/Hurley/Pemberton/Anderson Lake??

I'm easy peasie also, I'll have a better take on which dates will work best for me after this weekend.
Stripped bike to get valves checked, now I have to put her back together this weekend and maybe throw on a Dakar E-09 ;)

I'm following this . . . I've done hurley , carpenter lake , seton highline , Harrison west on my DR650 , and would like to venture just a little further into the south chilcotin .

and I want to do west side of the fraser from Lillooet down to Harrison east .

Cool, let me know when you have your dates. I'm still running the stock Conti TA tires on my 1190 and I hope I can get away with it. I'll swap them out with the TKC 80's once I wear these out.

I guess we should have some dates in the next week or so. We'll continue the thread until we have something that works for everybody.

Another idea I had would be to go North from Harrison head up the in-shuck then stay overnight at the Lilooet lake lodge. That way there would be more time to explore the day after. Anyways, it's all still a loose plan so throw out other ideas if you have them.
