Looks interesting, and want to support such events happening locally - but that website sucks !!! There's little real info, tickets have to be purchased via Friendface, ah well, we'll chalk it up to first timers...

We're heading out on Wed (Aug 2nd) for a scenic (but long) trek over the Hurley pass (North of Pemberton) through the Bridge River valley, up and over the Mission pass, and back along the Highline Rd. This is a big bike ride, with few challenges, save for a quick pace, and a passion for seeing some beautiful back country.

A Wednesday ride ? In my dreams . . . Love to join you guys but some guys gotta do the work .Ticked one off last sunday : big bar ferry to china head mtn , past poison mtn . At that point the plan A was to head out the yalokom and get to the seton hotel for burger / beer , but instead my guide ( ??? ) decided he'd prefer to grovel out the Swartz/Mud lake route , a line I'd been trying (successfully) to avoid given the horror stories I'd heard. Well, we made it out after numerous bike drops, some climbs and descents well beyond my ability, water crossings i never thought I'd do ( knowingly ) and a shoulder injury to the guide ( ??? ) . Well at least i can say i did it , and will NEVER go that way again . . .
