Jim, Met a co-worker of yours today. Name is Allan,Fish cop lives in Terrace.Got a 08 KLX450r of him.Sounds like a fun project. Something I will have to keep in mind for early spring when time seems more available. I am looking at the mountain here and with snow half way down, my mind is turning to all the bike to-do projects that I have been putting off.
Plus the deer are rutting :hf:
I am going to try and register it here. But the cops here are pretty finicky about dirtbikes. If it goes through hope to use it in next years Telkwa pass ride.It only had 200kms on it looks new.Right on. Al is a great guy. I worked with him here for 3 years. We had a hoot.
That bike is brand new. I always bugged him that he should get it registered at least as they were going to give him insurance here for it. Guess he does not have to worry about that now
Enjoy the new ride. It is a power beast from what I heard.
They don't come any taller then my 04 950S....better put some air in the rear tyre or check the shock![]()
...you can ride through it and see if you can plot my route for the day![]()
Cool ride. That would have been a ton of fun, but I think I would have killed myself on the snow sections. Here goes my guess for your route. I am going to keep it broad as there are some trials I haven't got a clue where exactly you were.
Started at your chateau, headed towards 9 Mile, rode some trail around there, popped out onto the Salmon River Road around 9 km (just before you take the corner and drop down and over the Shegunia River), headed south back towards town, took a detour off at some point, played around the wet land area between 2 Mile and the Kispiox Road, popped out on the Kispiox Road, cut the trail on the bank of the Skeena, popped out to the east of John Field Elem, dropped to Old Town, then home.
As for my itch to ride, it will be really enhanced after next week, the last week of whitetail season :help
Have fun in Terrace.
