VIDEO - Playing in the Suskwa 1 km of deactivations

Hey guys. 2T and myself went for a rip through the 6 Mile loop to the Suskwa and through the 1 km of deactivations to get to Motown. It was a hoot. What was even better was that this was the first time I really stretched the legs of the TS, and man did it do good. Not too bad for a bike that is 32 years old

Here is the video of just the deact fun. We have a ton of good video that will be very handy for making a complication at a later date. The best part of the video in my opinion is my reaction to the first deact. They were bigger then I remembered :p

Enjoy.

Looks like that was a fun road. Some of those cross ditches appear to really sneak up on you.

I liked the chest mount for the camera (bchunter's POV). It's one of the few videos I've seen that really gives you a sense of how rough the road is. I may have to buy a chest mount now....

Seems like it was already complicated for A Big Guy on a teensy TS:p

Good stuff , gave me some chuckles. Not sure I was enjoying that Tank/Kneecap view though. Is it me or does someones camera need a rinse:confused:

 Keep it coming:hb:

Good video 2T :)

Ya, the angle on the camera was pointed a little down, I am still trying to get used to the right angle. And you are right, the TS is small for me, but it is bought and paid for. The thing that irks me the most is no suspension and a front drum brake. One day I will upgrade ......

Upgrade you will , But you must keep the old classics alive. I have an old 1972 yamaha DT2 250 and I enjoy riding it as much as my 2009 KTM
It would be nice to have a Classic section on the forum

That is where I am honestly torn. I love the look, sound, and how easy it is to work on the TS, but would like some more modern features. My thought is that I am going to ride it good this summer and if it is still running at the end, I will spend some $$ and see what upgrades I can do to it, such as some valving for the front shocks and see if I can source some rear shocks that will fit in there. I have not really ridden it that hard, the other day was the most by putting 90 kms on it, and it did it without hesitation. In all reality, I can't afford another ride so it is the TS / GS combo. An eclectic mix :)
