Yamaha recalls 12,000 WR250's

Now, if Suzuki ever recalled the DRZ400 for stator replacement...there would be no-one more surprised than me! Pretty much the only issue that comes to mind with these bikes.

Honey, my yamaha wr250r is like umm dangerous or something...
I think that for safety I should buy a new Husky fe350s

Yamaha has always been very pro-active with their recalls. Suzuki has been the exact opposite.

Lets face it... In today's world the only reason a recal of any kind happens is because the corporation involved is forced to!
speaking of recalls, BMW is recalling 300000 bikes world wide because of a faulty rear wheel flange!
something like 34k in northamerica
only a couple people died from rear wheels falling off so I guess that's pretty pro active as well

If you own a 1200 between 2003 and 2011, check the rear flange to make sure it's not aluminium!!
