Hi Nature Lovers,
I would like to go from Courtenay to Royston and then to Horne Lake on the power line parallelling the new highway 19. In satelite photos it looks very friendly and full of scenery. Since I never attempted that route, it should be full of advanture. There are some interesting trails on the sides too.
We will then try to go to Port Alberni. This will be 4-6 hours in the saddle, so bring water and food. The route should be relatively easy, but I'm sure we will find something challenging somewhere.
