I posted a question on advrider a few days ago in the Canadian Regional Forum, asking about DS instruction in the Kamloops area. Russ (PacWestGS) is a part time instructor from Washington, who is toying with the idea of coming up to Kamloops to put on a weekend of instruction at (venue to be determined) for (price to be determined, but probably about $250 USD per rider), probably on August 8 and 9th.

So far, there are about 7 "kinda interested" folks. Russ wants a minimum of 4, and a maximum of about 10. If you are interested, you can go here...

PS, yeah, I know this is my first post. Bora20 suggested I join and cross post this, so it's all his fault! I intend to spend more time here now that I know it exists though...

Edited to add: Probably best if anyone is interested, to follow the link and post intrerest at advrider.

Definitely interested. Need to get new tires first though. And get a new clutch cable.

You also need $250 to ride in there...you can't afford that right now unless you want to lose your truck.

Dorky will show you how to dry your pants and socks on a rock!

Ypan, get some TKC80s for that pig and then go out on the fire roads. Leave them at street pressure and just get a feel for the big on the gravel.

You don't want to play in the tough stuff yet. A rip up to Mt. Lolo would be a good start for you.
