If you DON'T like the off road signs being used/made i would be interested to hear about it.

I am refering to all off road areas even though all i am thinking of doing is making a more solid " dashboard " sign (Tamihi chilliwack). Maybe a few others after that.

I will take your absence of reply as a DO like off road signs.
Also not looking for sign suggestions yet (colors, shape, meaning if any)
that would be its own thread.

this is an example of a trail marking sign.

Vexorg has mentioned a sign that may be what BCORMA suggests.
I have sent an email to BCORMA for the standard they follow.

BCORMA has already started this. Its part of the Trail Pass funding

It starts with the GPSing of the area them we can apply to be funded to sign the trails.

The signage is international standards, very nice

If you and others are interested in tackling this kind of a project let me know by posting here

I had a pic of one of the signs (they have some at Vedder Mountain), but it was in my camera that I recently lost. I liked the signs. If these are the same signs that Tom is talking about they are longer than they are tall, maybe 2-3 inches wide and (I think) 1.5-2 feet tall, usually placed on a post at the start of the trail. I don't remember all the details that were on it, but I do remember that it had the name of the trail and it's difficulty. There was also a spot for GPS coords, but none of the signs had these filled in. Can't remember if there was anything else on the signs, and couldn't find an example on google images to link to.
