So I'm off work for two weeks starting this friday the 18th!!!!:pI was hoping to ride before christmas happens ..JUST THOUGHT I'd post now and see what other awesome north island riders schedules look like !!!!?Let me know ...we will plan a fun excursion to someplace .:hb:paul .S

What do you guys think about setting up some winter knobbies ?

Screw hex head screws into an old pair of tires.

I wonder if we could get farther in the snow or not ? It may decrease the number of spontaneous up close and personalsoil samplings.

Anyone got any experience with this ?

Not soil its snow and i was having fun making bike and rider snow angels ......but on the other hand spiked tires could be fun.

Great minds think alike....studded tires has been on my agenda...I have never actually put the screws in before...BUT my tires are definately worn so I wouldnt mind trying this OUT!!!!BUT I dont think you can run them on anything but ice and snow ...otherwise I would think they would get destroyed very easily !!!.HOW is this Saturday looking for a RIDE over at SOINTULA!!!!!!!:hb:paul.S

I'm heading out to Woss this Sunday for some skiing but will return with the KTM.

How about a monday adventure... beats going in to work.

IM game for sure for monday ....I sure hope roasted and hopper and wick trimmer can GO !!!!!!!!...We could catch the 835am ferry over to Sointula .Let me know if the time works?:hb: Paul.S

im in for monday meet where the ferry? and do i need to gas up before i go over or is there fuel there and do i need xtra gas or is my 150kms good enough.

On Monday I'll likely be headed down Island to pick up my daughter... Wednesday works better for me and is supposed to be sunny and +2..... Monday says chance of flurries.... Sat also works for me and is supposed to be sunny...

The first ferry leaves Mcneill at around 7:20 AM the second about 10:30, you guys have been over enough that you'll do fine without a guide if you decide on Monday...
150 KM range is fine and if not fuel is available if you run low....

good deal thanks island hopper . if it works better for wensday im easy on the day i can make pretty much anyday work so what ever works for everyone else..

OK ....by the looks of it we could be riding quite a bit !!!!!!!..I LIKE IT :p.My KTM is also liking it :spl:.I would like to ride tomorow SATURDAY ...and MONDAY ...oh an WEDNESDAY :hb:.For SATURDAY a ride in Sointula would be great .MEET time would be at 1015 at ferry terminal...Ferry is at 1025. let me know if your going ..Paul.S

Well I won't be there on Saturday. Not sure about Wednesday yet.

Still plan on riding on Monday... let me know if anyone else is around.

Alright Paulmc and NI230L.Thats cool if Saturday is out for you guys. I will for sure go on MONDAY ...and WEDNESDAY .As for SATURDAY same time .HOPPER if you are game for tommorow.I will be on the 1025 does this work for you ?.Paul .S
