Cardo systems makes a very good one..... I think most bike shops can get them. My son and I use them to talk to each other while he competes in trials competitions..

Can't recommend a good one, however stay away from IMC electronics. My riding crew has used those for a while and we gave up. The components just aren't heavy-duty enough for hard riding.

They have the "Chatter Box" in Royal Distributing on page 295 of their new cataloge. There are three models to choose from. Does get a little pricey with all the do-dads. Go to "http://www.royaldistributing.com"

I have never tried them, so I can't help you there. I still like to yell and guess what the other is going to do.

Good Luck

ive gotten some mixed reveiwes from people using the chatterbox

i currently use the imc motocom and find having to press the buttun to talk a bit of a pain so im sure my wife will get frustrated with that right away while learning to ride

this Cardo systems unit looks pretty nice aside from the fixed boom mic and lack of range

ill just have to keep my eyes peeled till i find the right unit

If you're still looking... I know RiskMan has a helmet to helmet communication system with decent range that seems to work well. Maybe send him a PM to find out what he's using.

Cheers.

If you're still looking for a good communications system, I have a Scala Rider Q2 Multi set (there's a Q4 out now, but the weather protection's not as good I hear). This has proved great for riding with my n00bie wife, keeps her in touch and relaxed when things get crazy on the street. Range is about a mile line of sight, sound quality is superb. Voice activated, active noise reduction for wind (people can't believe I'm riding when I have gotten cel calls) blue tooth works with phones, gps's, and has a built in radio and mp3 jack.

I like it, just not all the time. You CAN turn it off. Oh yah, easy install too. Recommended.

my wife and i also use the scala rider q2 teamset

i cant say a bad thing about it allthough i found with the soft mic foamy the channel stayed open to long as it was pickign up alot of road noise

i changed to the thicker foamy and it works much better

sound quality with the ipod could be better but aside from that an excellent product

bought hem at the bike show for 360 taxes inn
