You can use the rare earth magnets from an old hard drive -- they should work great. I use one as a stud sensor & I have yet to find a "commercial" stud sensor to rival its performance.

Or you can just slap one of these to the bottom of your frame :)

I remember a friend's dad had a similar pair of crazy strong magnets. Before he would show them to us he would plan his walk thru the house from the place he stored them to the backyard. He told us the first time he walked thru the house with them he got stabbed in the wrist by a kitchen knife & wrecked his tv.

depending on where you are, most places around the lower mainland use vehicle detection cameras. The only area I can think of that still uses loops is Surrey and maybe older areas in Vancouver and Chilliwack.

I though I'd my 2 cents

So I sat at a light for 5 mins yesterday waiting for it to change :mad3:
- I've been trying to work out how to avoid that light since then - now I know what to do :bliss:
