Ah ok, just a short run up the mainline from where we met you. Used to be a logging camp and employee housing there 50 some years ago. So you were viewing Kissinger from the side of Heather Mtn?

I see Heather Lk on the off road maps sitting west of Shaw Mainline practically on top of Heather Mtn. No roads it seems, probably need to hike! There must be a trail somewhere under that snow. You must have been very close.

floored is out of retirement.if you can get him out when he is not sitting on a ferry.we had my dad out today on his klr 650 not bad for the young age of 75.

I just viewed Heather Lake on Google Earth. Wow! It is nearly on top of Heather mtn, almost resembles a volcanic crater. Looks like a very steep climb from Shaw main. There are old trails on the opposite (west) side, might be easier. Access is by R Main.

Not retired, just having difficulty finding time to ride when the boys have baseball 2 nights a week, lacrosse 3 or 4 times a week, and a truck run to Vancouver at least once a week.

Tracy dealt with lacrosse today so I could go for a birthday ride.

If you look at Claw's front wheel he now has 6" more clearance. No wonder he was getting through the deep snow.

nice pic. you guys arent gonna to make it to the lake until maybe june on the bikes. to much snow. my friends built the trail to the lake. last time i was there we were still winching on our quads in the final km to the lake
