That's quite the trail to take any bike on to loosen up the steering. Pretty tough to stay on the sides, out of the rut. Good rider!! :hb:

This is Vedder Mountain in Chilliwack, BC. Some of these trails are actually right on the US/CA border.

That video was still on the stock scorps. They are not bad on hardpack and dirt if you keep your momentum, but of course no bite at all. So on uphills you really have to make sure you don't stop. They are super dangerous on mud though. As soon as you hit anything off camber you're going for a ride, so you really need to just let the bike go where it wants to in the muddy areas.

I did end up flatting the rear yesterday, so tomorrow I'll probably install the Mefo Stone masters and see what this thing can really do this weekend.

He was using a GoPro HD at 960 and 30 fps. I have a Contour HD, but don't waste your money. The sound is intolerable, and I have done many mods to improve it, but may throw in the towel if the last mod doesn't work. The GoPro is a brick, but works far better.

Radek is a big guy, and very capable. I sent this link to a couple of friends. I remember seeing pictures, but I didn't realize it was Radek. I met him a couple weeks ago in Calgary, and if didn't always have the s*** eating grin on his face, I wouldn't have approached him. Super awesome guy. I'm B-Rod in the above post. There was already a B-Rod here, so I couldn't have the name.

There's something to keep in mind: disassemble bike, relocate all the pieces (on the other side of the stopper), re-assemble bike and be on your merry way. Easy peasy. WOW!!! :clap::clap::hb:

Just got my 990 so I'm ready to join in for some dual sporting so I need to post on the site.
I'm looking for people that want to do some longer, 90% offroad rides on the weekend on big bikes. I did my first last weekend and it may have been easier with a buddy :)

Radek is a great rider, hard to believe he only got his first bike less then 5 years ago. If you check out his site http://www.chainslayer.com there's a really cool 3 part video about him and his buddy Andrew deciding to race the Baja 1000.

I was at his place today and he's planning on racing the Baja again this year but on his 990R solo:shock:!!!!!

Hey Radek, We met a few years ago in North Vancouver at a Trek media event. Glad to see you've discovered the throttle. I ride a GSA1150 and EXC 525. I'm in poor shape so I would likely take the 525 for trails. If you're talking FRS roads then the GS will do. Just do a post if you want to set up a ride.

I think most mortals would be afraid to ride with you. If you go the places you do when you are alone, I'd hate to imagine what you are willing to try when you feel 'safer' with a buddy :D

Lets do it sometime, post up on here or PM me. We did the Harrisson West last month with a couple of 950's. A route trails are fun on an LC8!
