Didn't get enough dust on the Dead Zone? Two weeks later you can take on the Routledge Run, leaving Surrey or Agassiz and finishing at Princeton, with a choice of routes.

Street Bike: Long and short options for a full day of twisty blacktop crusing (or peg scraping.)

Adventure Bike: 350km of scenic, mostly gravel road, with a few surprises to keep it interesting.

Tough Enough: 350km with a minimum of blacktop. Lots of fast gravel, a few challenging sections, but no really gnarly stuff. (That comes on the Sunday ride home.)

Everyone meets up at the Princeton Castle Resort for dinner and an evening of bench racing.

This is a terrific event hosted by some very good people. (Except in 2008 when Doug & I organized it!)

'Wrongway' = Wally Klammer. Something of a local legend (mostly for his navigational skills), who wrote a fantastic article for 'Inside Motorcycles' last year highlighting his experience at the 2009 Dead Zone.

Highly recommended.

I havent seen to much action on this event here on our forum, looks like it got burried by the Dead Zone:(

The Routlege Run is a must do event, Lots of closer to home trails and FSRs and a good mix of easy to very hard options.

If you have missed this event in the past, dont miss it now. The weather looks like its going to be perfect.

The Bus will be going to the Pathfinder start area and we will be camping there Friday night

Scenic Road Route for cruisers, sport bikes and touring riders.
Adventure Dual Sport Route for KLR's, Big BMW's and DRG650's.
Tough Enough Dual Sport Route for trail worthy bikes.
All finish at the Princeton Castle Resort for dinner and awards.
Early arrivals can see the Saturday afternoon Air Show in Princeton.

Looks like everyone is doing something this weekend

Just to keep you guys up to date

Its only going to be a small group of experienced riders this year, so we are going to ride together. Should be lots of fun. We will be doing some of our favorites to Princeton. Whipsaw, Champion, Badger Hill, and a bunch of new stuff. We are going to blast up Harrison East to Boston Bar to top up, then we are going to see if we can find Spius FSR, its been a bunch of years since we originally found this old FSR and I am sure we can find it again. We go some new stuff in Brookmere to try out too.

Its not too late to join the mayhem just show up at the Pathfinder and Wally will be there to sign you up

If you are thinking of riding with us you will need to be a B rider that is willing to become a B+:p

If you are on of those guys that want to ride Baja, this is one events you should do first. Most everything you need to learn for a Baja adventure is on this ride.

So... Did Wes & Scottie graduate to B+ & eligible for Baja?

Wes needs to go back to hill climbing school for a refresher..............bailed on his first try up Badger hill.

Scottie needs to pack his scuba gear for the next ride so he can rescue his bike during creek crossings!!!!

If there are no pis of me bailing on the start of Badger, then there is no proof!!! :):p

This years Routledge was a endurance ride with over 300 K's in each direction, but the trip was made short by interesting and new trails found by Wongway.

XR mike had fun chasing bears off the trail both ways. Me, I just kept avoiding the deer.:f:

A big thanks to Tom for leading the ride for some of us over Spius. (Tom, it's the middle road)

On the way home Tomcycle had us up Badger hill and over Murray lake way. Thanks for the leadership.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the Loose screw and the gnarly parts ride in August.:clap:
