Anywhere is fine with me. I just want to get out and ride.

Howdoes meeting at Bruce's market at 9:30 or 10:00 am sound? If the weather is not too crazy.:hr:

I have to take the wife to the airport in the morning, but I hope to be back in time to meet you guys at 10 at Bruce's. Like North, I'll check the forecast tomorrow before I decide to head out. Forecast looks good right now though!

Seems ok out right now, so unless it suddenly starts to pour before I get back from the airport, I'll see you guys at 10 at Bruces.

Thanks for the ride, guys. Other than that bit of rain/hail crap, and the low clouds blocking some views (I'm just tough to please), it was great! Enough challenging pieces to keep things interesting, and a good group of guys to spend the day with.

Kerry, glad we could help break the shiny new DRZ in. Sorry we couldn't get it dirtier. Next time when you have a few more guards on, we'll make you drop it too.

Pics!

After our little exploration up Hunter Rd.

Getting a couple shots of the equipment for Kerry's kids. Kinda cool that the operator was there too so the beast was in action.

That was a good day of riding. Not bad weather for December. Although, that short downpour was something.

You all blow donkey dung. I was out late last night and slept in this morning. If I had have known you were all going riding I would have dragged my butt out of bed earlier. I logged onto DSBC at 11 this morning to see this, and to see the clouds breaking outside.

Oh well....got to put a good dent in the xmas shopping today.

Who's got tracks from today?

I gots ta watch these forums closer, that looked like an awesome ride for me to squeeze in on!

Nothing planned for next weekend, any of you planning on doing something like this again then? (I'm still fairly noob as an off roader, only experience I've had is gravel roads around Stave and Chipmunk - trying to stay off the real tricky stuff, but the trails you guys were on in the photos didn't look too bad for my skill level.)

The ride was amazing! Thanks to Pat, Travis, Greg and Rick the day was a huge success. I was able to get my new DRZ out and didn't even drop it!

I did lose my backpack once :shock:and fortunately for me Travis was kind enough to stop and pick it up for me and also provide me with some good bungees for the rest of the day

The one spot that gave me the most trouble was this trail that was basically a rocky creek that was covered in leaves the further up we went. It was satisfying to get to the top though.

The views were great when the clouds would part for a few minutes. That's a view of the Stave Lake/Mad Max Mudflats. We could hear the mudders but couldn't quite see them.

And of course a pic of the new bike :TTT:
