hi, names jackson, live out in ucluelet. i'm a novice rider with a 91 xr250l that will be plated this spring. i'm stoked to hook up with some folks, and generally learn from your collective experience as i ease into the ds world.

my first of many questions is what shops/mechanics do you reccomend in the central islandor victoria area, for parts and service? also looking to have my seat recovered.

also, if you live/visit the west island say hi!

thanks very much.:hb:

I'd recommend Mile Zero Motorsports just north of ladysmith right on the highway. excellent salestaff and knowledgeable guys. I just got a cr60 seat recovered at Broco auto glass in nanaimo (6450 island hwy) and they did an awesome job for cheap. $15 and I supplied the cover. he also makes his own right there if you need one made. 390-2204. also, if you are looking for an aftermarket one, GUTS racing makes an awesome cover. they are out of the states, but shipped it up fast.

Ukee has some good riding area's if you know where they are. I ride there often. I will shoot you a PM next time I'm down that way.
