Just had a Kendra Trackmaster installed, and while I was paying I tried to order a skidplate for my bike, a '05 DR 200. He can't find one. Any suggestions? Will a 250 plate fit? What does one to do?

Rob Currie at MTR informs me that because of the design of the engine/body arrangement, a skidplate isn't possible. I was going to bend upa prototype out of roofing sheet metal, and get a fabricator to smash some plate steel (aluminum really only matters when you know what you're doing, both on the welder and on the bike. Lamentably, I suck at both!) untill it resembles my template. Store-Bought would definately be better. I'm going to peruse this new source poste haste. (I think that's Latin for "Right F@#&'n Now".
