Just curious about who uses a Vstrom and for what sort of riding?

Quite interested in other riders sharing pictures of where is the nastiest or the most scenic spot they have ridden their Vstrom (WeeStrom) from, to..., or accidentally through.:ss:

Great pictures. Here was my bike picture the day I purchased it, once the snow stops here I hope to find the end of a scenic road or nice gravel ones.

Trip to Georgina Island and the ferry crossing is something I need to repeat on the Vstrom.

CAPE SCOTT

Just Gravel Roads but it was a Lot of Fun

Ahh Cape Scott,

This brings back memories, especially the beach shot...My girlfriend and I (and our dog, Eddie) went up there last spring. We were in a car, and took some crazy back roads on that trip that would have been WAY more fun on a bike!

How crazy is Holberg? Feels like it's in the middle of absolutely nowhere...

It was kind of cool going up to Cape Scott, because my girlfriend's great-grandparents were settlers out there before the area was pretty much abandoned around World War One....then they moved to Powell River...much more civilized! :)

I think my DR needs to go to The Island! (No offence to the DL....)

I ride with a few guys with v-stroms and I am amazed where these things will go.

It is great to see this chat area growing through so many great action pictures that are being shared for the wee strom. The bike like all four Suzuki's has a very loyal rider community that loves the all around DR and the edgy DRZ and the Strom(s).

A Vstrom ride would be fun but I think it would be fun to organize a V'strom across Canada relay for charity. Riding fun and some new innovative way to raise money in a pre-olympic summer. Something like a Bank sponsor and the local riding clubs would ride to meet up with other riding clubs. The riders basically work there way West to East or North to South or whatever and for a good cause. Maybe it is for funding for a trail network, fighting cancer, raising funds and awareness against drinking and driving and the list is endless in possibilities. Maybe the event could be the fundraising chain and each club could raise for a local charity so all the causes we locally want to support were looked after.

My May ride. DR not the DL. Too sloppy and wet to take the other bike and risk dropping it lots.

The loose screw ride?

I will be riding the loose screw ride again this year.Any other v-stromers are welcome to join me. However that ride is open to all bike that can travel on the different routes.

There are a lot of rides that are open to all bikes but in this case I am thinking about a ride for only v-stroms. If you look on the different v-strom forums you will see a number of v-strom only rides.

There are enough of us in this part of the country to have a clan meeting. I am putting together an informal ride on the spur of the moment. However, we will still see some nice roads and have a good time.

Scotty905,

What kind of knobby tires are on your strom? Do the handle pavement well?

Still have the stock trailwings on it. Probably the reason I couldn't get through this cross ditch:(and getting high centered didn't help.

I'm going to purchase a more agressive tire pretty soon just not sure whichtype yet.
