Hey Steve,welcome to the group. I am also a 2011 Vstrom owner and I ve been riding it extensively on road and gravel .The Strom is actually a very capable bike for the riding you want to do .I have been using the Metzler Karoo 3 on the back but once that is worn out I'll buy the Michelin Anakke...

Yes, Good point .I d like to do it but I need to consider that my bike is is the worst one on the dirt of the group so hope you will be patient with me .

So what you are saying is that if too much snow the event is cancelled or we go a different route ? I wouldn't mind doing more of a road ride rather that cancelling all togheter. Everyone input is appreciated. Thanks

Anybody is interested in going to Moab this May or later in the fall ? ( dates flexible) I got a klx 250 (300 kit ) but I have never been so it would be nice to go with someone that has done it before. Thanks for the replied. Enrico
