Chilcotin Area: Road access from Chaunigan Lake Northwest to Tsuniah Lake Road

I had a great dinner at the Chaunigan Lake Resortvabout 7 years ago and I inquired about the road/trail to Tsuniah Lake Road shown on the BC Back Roads map book.

The fellow at the camp said it was not that great and the Brittany creek crossing was deep and muddy, so we passed given my weak off road skills.

Any idea if that route has improved over the years...?

Well it's spring of 2026 and unfortunately it doesn't look like any updates have appeared here.
I hope to explore this area this summer and if I can, I will try to see if this road is passable.
