A buddy of mine has 1 on his DRZ but I think he had to trim the chain slider to make it fit but it will fit.

Late reply, but I can confirm that it will fit if you trim the chain slider.

Most 16 will fit. That said a lot of people get the Driven Racing one because the teeth are lower (smaller diam) and it is very well made.

I'm thinking of going this way - can someone be more explicit about what way the chain slider needs trimming? Specifically I see from a fiche that the slider is u shaped - I guess this means taking some material from the rounded bit of the U. Is this easy or am I getting into removing the slider. Would I be better going for 15/41 rather than 16/44?

not "U" shaped, but more of a crooked finger shaped, and the 16 will contact it, if not static then it will at speed.
I built a new fat heavy one using the old barrel mounts as I wasn't comfortable with the skinnyed up stock piece any more.

im trying 16/44 next week when I change the sprockets and chain from 14/47 on my plated E .. anyone had this combo?nevermind I ordered a 15 to try out next
