I have a chance to pick up a '93 TE 610 in California, and I'm tempted to ride it back to B.C. It looks to be in good conidtion, with decent 50/50 DS tires. I know that a better seat would help, but it is "only" 1500km or so. I've always wanted to do at least part of the coast highway, and this might be a good excuse for a 3-4 day ride.
I did 1200km. in 2 days on an ATK last year, somy old body should be able to stand the pain.
Any majormechanical/suspension issues tolook foron older 610's?
All of this assumes that the bike will be importable to Canada, but it is street-legal in California, and itis more than 15 years old.I guess I'd better talk to all the necessary authorities first.
