2002 KTM 200 exc is it a RUM bike?

I currently own a 2002 Ktm 200 exc and I have been thinking about making it a dualsport. The only problem I am having is that I pressure wash my bike a lot and the sticker stating if its a rum bike has sadly washed away. I have looked online to try and find out what its considered as but I have had no success. Would it be a restricted use motorcycle?

Before you can go to your autoplan dealer you will need registration with your name in hand

Don't Have registration? then you will require the NVIS form, New Vehicle Information Statement

An original NVIS is required for all new Canadian vehicles prior to registering the vehicle.
Any change to the vehicle manufacturer’s information on a NVIS makes it invalid.
Copies (including fax copies) of a NVIS are not acceptable

Im am only guessing here but even with a 10 plus year old original NVIS form, I think there will be a problem getting registration for a 10+ year old bike and they will require an inspection and without the appropriate transport canada decals that state compliance with the rules, you will not get past the inspection.

I also cant remember the last 2 stroke KTM that was street legal

Even here your story sounds "suspect" so I would expect the authorities would scrutinize your request for registration very close

Good Luck, I think you going to need it.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I finally found out its a enduro closed course bike so theres no chance to get it plated. Is there any 4 stroke that I can LEGALLY plate that doesn't have terrible power like the klx,drz bikes?

All I can say is my Husky TE 250 rocks but if I had the extra money I would have maybe gone for the 310

there is really not many street legal from the factory bikes to pick from.
ktm exc's after 2007
husky te series after 2006/7 ish
yamaha wr250 about the same years forward.
i wish that beta RS (street legal from the factory according to their website) series were imported into canada, but i've only seen the rr's around here.
kawi klx 250 is an other one that has not been mentioned.
