I Have a 91 DR650S and no manual....My Timing chain needs adjustment and I hate taking my bike to a shop..I know the right side cover must come off but I dont know what to expect. Do I need gaskets. hmm..

I have the same bike and have a copy of the manual. You'll need a gasket, and best to do it with the oil drained out I found my copy online, if you don't find it, PM me.
