Is anyone from the KLR nation running aluminium handlebars on their bikes. If so what make and model are they...?

I had the renthal "desert bend 666" bars on my KLR when I had one. Great bars, 7/8" so no need to oversize adaptors. They have more rise(140 mm) I think and are about the same width (840 mm). reduce the vibes in the mirrors to. Way better than the stock bars. I think the parts canada number for these bars is 870125, so most dealers should be able to find them for you.

Just remember one thing....:ted: Once aluminum bars are bent, they don't bend back. If you do manage to rebend them, it would be foolish to use them.
